What a long wonderful weekend with my son! My husband had to work all weekend in the unrelenting heat but me and Junior Mint got to spend some time together. Started out with the breakfast buffet in shich my son was in an exceptionally good mood and made friends with all the women at the restaurant. Then a little shopping and back home to play (him) and clean (me). Not too exciting but with A everything is exciting and takes 10 times longer than normal. Today we got up and did a little more cleaning and then off to visit with family from Florida and Texas. He had two little girls that were all about the baby and pretty much gave him anything he wanted so needless to say he did not want to leave.

My wonderful (at least he is tonight) husband is putting the baby to bed and I have to figure out what to wear to work. I really do not want to go but until I win the lottery it is my life. I do not know about the rest of you but I live for my weekends and the time I get to spend with my son.

There are times that I wish I could just stay home but of course we can not afford for me not to work (like so many of us) so I get ready to start another frustrating week. Having said that I am thinking it might be time to get my master's in teaching and get a teaching position. It is still a job but the bonus would be that I would be able to spend more time with my family and be more available for my son. Working a 40-50 hour a week corporate job I hate and commuting is not cutting it anymore.

One more day to the weekend!!!!

So today was yet another stressful day at work! I work in the corporate world and find that I hate corporate politics and micro-managers. After dealing with people who are way too overly sensitive about stupid stuff I picked up a pizza and met my husband and son at the pool to have a little pizza and a some swim time as it was stupid hot here in Georgia. My son decided today that the pool was not fun and instead walked around with a breadstick kicking a ball. Got to love 19 month olds and their moods! Gave the baby a bath, which consists of 2 minutes of washing and 20 minutes of playing, and now get to watch some trash TV before going to bed and making it through one more day before the AWESOME weekend is here. I don't know about you but this stressed out working mommy is sure looking forward to the weekend!
